Just to augment Nil's excellent suggestion, here are the steps
required to get to the place he described, where you can opt out of
having your account reported by a 'finger' search using your (account
owner's) name on UCLink:

   1. Visit the UCLink home page:
      http://uclink.berkeley.edu/

   2. Select "Manage Your Account"

   3. Enter your UCLink account name and password, then click "Login".

   4. Under "Account Configuration", select "Check and set account options".

Also, it would be worth investigating whether public searches of
the CalNet Directory Service, via <http://directory.berkeley.edu/> or
otherwise, can be limited in any way for this visiting scholar's
directory entry. At the very minimum, you might request that her
publicly-accessible directory attributes be restricted to the minimum
required. You might first try inquiring about this by writing to
'calnet-admin@uclink'.
