BearMail for Socrates Users

Hello all,

We are conducting a user pilot for BearMail for Socrates users.
Previously, one could only use BearMail if one had a UClink account.
Now Socrates mail can also be accessed via
https://bearmail.berkeley.edu .

Documentation and support is available at the BearMail website. Since
Socrates and UClink are very different systems, we have provided
additional documentation specifically for Socrates users. The BearMail
FAQ, https://bearmail.berkeley.edu/html/DEFAULT/faq.htm, includes a
"Socrates Users" section.

Bearmail for Socrates is provided for those Socrates users who need
a web interface to check their mail. We still recommend that those
Socrates users who do not require Unix shell access or APOP switch to
UClink.
