Assuming the PDF file does not have any security setting to get in your
way, you can do a Save As from Acrobat 5 (full version - not Reader) and
put the page into Rich Text Format. Then use a wordprocessor to obtain the
text.

The RTF file does try to emulate the page layout, which can be odd
when the PDF was created from a web page originally, but it works as a
general method.
