Hi All,
I have a couple of installations of Windows 2000 with this same little
annoying feature.
When clicking on an http link in a document, 2 instances of a browser open.
If this is attempted from within a Word document we get the 2 instances of
a Netscape (default browser) url popping up.
If this is attempted from within an email in an Eudora email we get one
instance of the browser and then a window asking "choose program to open
http//..." and whatever the link says.
Can someone tell me just where to remove this extra prompter for the
default browser.
(also using office 2000, eudora 5.1, and netscape 6.x)
thanks,
Paul Garnett
