Hello everyone,

I am having some troubles getting my permanent individual license file to
work with Matlab 12. I followed the directions in the rtf file that was
sent with the license file, however matlab will not startup because of a
"license manager error -18". I've checked what I can according to the
support solutions on the Mathworks website, but I noticed a couple strange
things about the license file that was sent to me:

1) The date on the increment TMW_Archive line is past (01-jan-0000).
2) The HOSTID variable on the increment TMW_Archive line is different than
the other lines in the license file.
3) The HOSTID doesn't match the hostid found by the license manager
daemon.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems? Also, doesn't it seem like
overkill to use the license manager daemon for an individual license?

Thanks,
