Dear BPAWG,

At our last meeting on the topic of change management, RACI
(responsibility charting) was discussed. A lot of us wanted to know more
details about RACI, so July's meeting will address not only the concept
of RACI (see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RACI_diagram for some background) but also
the customer report card and other tools for process analysis and
improvement. Shelley Sweet will present an overview of both. (Shelley
led the recent Business Process Analysis Action Learning Workshops on
campus, sponsored by the Center for Organizational and
Workforce Effectiveness.)

Joining the conversation will be several team members who will give
concrete examples of how they incorporated both
concepts into the work they are doing to improve business processes.

After covering this, we will have small group discussions on several
other topics, including the use of Idea Bins and promoting effective
Sponsorship. Shelley and Liz Elliott will also discuss possible
participation of your unit in the next round of BPA Action Learning
Workshops which begin this fall.

We hope to see you there!
