Hello:
We just started using MS Office 2008 (Excel) on one of our new
iMacs. We've found something strange. While using Eudora to read
e-mail, sometimes there will be a word or excel attachment. When we
double-click on it, usually the application opens up and the
attachment will open as well. However, this is not always the
case. Sometimes, we have found that we'll have to go to our
attachment folder and click on the document there, and SOMETIMES it
will open up. Other times, just the application starts and that's it.
The document types that we are trying to open are .xls and .doc, not
the newer .xlsx nor .docx formats. Any ideas? thanks.
