Standardizing on a single hardware platform for lab use has never been
easier. According to PC World Magazine and Popular Mechanics Apple offers
the fastest Windows Vista systems on the market, which helps make that
decision even easier. By utilizing Apple's Intel-based Mac line of
computers, lab administrators can now deploy dual or triple boot systems
and/or choose from over 60 different virtual operating systems to run
simultaneously. In this free, one-day session you will learn how to deploy
the systems, lock them down and manage them centrally for continued use and
maintenance.

This event will be held June 17th at Apple's corporate headquarters in
Cupertino. The specifics and RSVP information is as follows...

What: One Machine, Any OS - Dual-boot deployment, maintenance and management

When: Tuesday, June 17, 2008 10:00 am - 3:30 pm

Where: Apple Corporate Campus, Cupertino, California, De Anza 3 Auditorium

Level: Intermediate to advanced technical knowledge required

The agenda will be as follows:

10:00 am - 10:15 am - Welcome, introductions and overview

10:15 am - 11:00 am - System Tools and Management - Locking down the
firmware, startup managers, system lock down tools and logout and restart
tools

11:00 am - 12:00 pm - Centralized Management - Workgroup management,
software update maintenance and Active Directory integration

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - Lunch and refreshments will be supplied by Apple

image creation and deployment using central, network based solutions
