Attention CalNet Developers,
The renewed SSL certificate for 'ldap.berkeley.edu' will take effect on
June 11th, 2008
If any of your applications use the CalNet PEM Certificates to make
secure connections to the CalNet Directory, please be sure to download
and install the new PEM files before June 11th:
<https://calnet.berkeley.edu/developers/downloads/ssl/v2/pem/calnet-v2-pem.tar>
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE CERT7 AND CERT8 DB FILES:
If any of you are using the 'cert7.db' or 'cert8.db' files within your
application code, you will need to download the latest version of these
files, as they have been updated to contain the renewed versions of our
SSL Certificates. However, because of the change in the signing CA,
these new files will not work until June 10th at 10AM. The old cert7
and cert8 db files will stop working on June 11th.
FILE cert7.db:
<https://calnet.berkeley.edu/developers/downloads/ssl/v2/cert7/cert7.db>
FILE cert8.db:
<https://calnet.berkeley.edu/developers/downloads/ssl/v2/cert8/cert8.db>
NOTE: this change will not effect email clients that are configured to
use the CalNet Directory.
If you have any questions, please contact calnet-admin_at_lists.berkeley.edu.
