I used Entourage for about a year in 2004/2005 and found the PIM
features clunky and poorly implemented. And, I always thought it was
dangerous to keep all my mail on one giant database file.

Apple's mail is getting a big update in October with PIM features
like Entourage has, integrating the suite tighter. Bond, I don't
think that Apple suite currently has to _sync_ per se, but instead
uses each app as a front end to perform lookups in the other apps
databases.
