Johnathon ,

The system-wide Technology Acquisition Support team has been notified and
has been working through a number of transition related issues. Following
this post, I will forward to the Micronet & Magnet lists a related e-mail
posted to the Bits list last week.

The short answer in regards to the impact on MCCA and other existing license
agreements is that the impact should be restricted to the delivery channel,
not the underlying license agreements which are generally negotiated
directly between the UC and the software manufacturer. This said, we are
experiencing some transition related pain in relation to the distribution
channel (CDW-G). Please contact me if you experience difficulties with
CDW-G so that these can be consolidated system-wide.

Subject: [Micronet] TRC, CDW, and MCCA

Hello,

Has the Campus received any official word from TRC regarding a merger
with CDW? If so, how will this effect a department that has an
agreement for the Microsoft Campus Agreement (MCCA) or other licensed
software?

Thanks,
Johnathon
