Isn't this one of the older Epson printers? They used to drive me
crazy with trying to "true" the color. However, the Epson software
allows for a couple of options that should tone down the
orange/yellow. One of these options is "Vivid." I can't remember
the name of the other. You might try experimenting with the color
options in the print screen, Bond.

Also, print from within Photoshop (with CMYK option) to fiddle with
the colors. I don't think Word is responsible for the color quality
in this situation. It's the computer display/printer color match
that is the challenge. And color synching display to printer is a
pretty painful process, especially with the older printers.

Word does very well with jpg, gif and best of all tiff (though the
tiff certainly makes for big files). We haven't used png much; one
would think that Word would handle that. But there's little use
editing any graphic once it is in Word or Powerpoint, other than to
resize or crop. One seems to lose a lot of information once it's
dropped into the Word bitmap format. Resolution drops too.
