AD & the Mac

Thanks everyone for the responses!

The answer to this question seemed to lie in our admin account.
Although we were able to bind PCs with the admin account, it would
not bind Macs. When one of their AD administrators did the bind,
their account worked. I'm not sure how our account at UCOP is set up
to understand why theirs works and ours doesn't, even after they
tried giving us as many permissions as possible.

In any case, it's back up and running.

Another note about this set up that's interesting is that it's
grabbing authentication from both AD and another LDAP server (to give
access to people who are not on AD). For whatever reason, the server
does not use its own Netinfo db for authentication purposes. This
doesn't seem correct, but we had a livable work around and so haven't
delved into it deeply.
