Software Installation Problem on Tiger

Hi,

I am trying to install Printer Drivers for a Xerox WCP 65 and am
experiencing unexpected exit from the Installer immediately after I
indicate that I approve of the license agreement. On a different OS X
based computer I am prompted for a password at this point of the
installation and it completes just fine. Aside from hardware, the
differences between the two computers are OS version and Norton Antivirus
which is installed on Tiger and not on the older machine.

I am no mac expert and would appreciate any insight I can get on this topic.
