New-Microsoft Office License Pricing for CAL Faculty and Staff

Hello all,

Recently the Office of the President signed a Microsoft Select
Amendment to the Student Select License, which for Berkeley, will
allow TSW to sell Office for Mac and Windows at the Student Select
License Pricing to Faculty and Staff for personal use.

Faculty and Staff may now purchase the following products :

Microsoft Office 2003 Pro (269-06824) for $79.00
Microsoft Office 2004 Mac (731-01073) for $69.00

* These licenses are intended solely for UCB STUDENT, FACULTY, AND
STAFF ONLY. ,(Valid UC Berkeley employee ID card required at time of
purchase, along with personal form of payment).
* At the time of pickup in the warehouse, faculty/staff must provide
their name, student ID, sign and date a Microsoft Faculty and Staff
Select License Agreement form.
* On web orders authenticating eligibility will be done by using your
CalNet ID at checkout.
* Faculty/staff may only purchase one (1) copy of each product (may
not purchase multiple copies of the software under any circumstances).
* Faculty/staff may install the software on one desktop and on an
additional notebook, both under the control of the eligible
faculty/staff. The purchase is for personal use and may not be sold
or transferred to another person.
