Is there a MacOS scientist campus group?

I just sent an email announcing a new online community for MacOS X
researchers. It made me think (again) to inquire whether there is
any campus researchers' computer resources group--Mac or other
platform.

Has anyone heard of such a group?

I know of many scientists in this department who would appreciate
bouncing questions and sharing problem solutions with each other.

Magnet, unlike the LBNL Mac Users Group, is primarily made up of
computer support people. And naturally the focus is a bit different.

If there is no such group, do you think there is enough interest to
start such a group??
