BFS 8.8 and Safari?

I logged in to the new BFS system (http://bfs.berkeley.edu) with
Safari, and it seemed to render and navigate pretty well. I clicked
into Purchasing->PurchaseOrders->ReviewPOInformation-
>PurchaseOrderDetailInqury, and tried to do a search. I find,
however, that none of the links or submissions buttons do anything...
not Search, not Clear, not the little calendar icon, or the Basic
Search link, or the magnifying glass icons.

I'm trying now with Firefox... the links and icons do seem to be
active, which is good. Ooh, and look there -- I got search results.
Ok.

I am concerned, though, that BFS 8.8 doesn't seem to play nice with
Safari. What do other people find?
