Our department is running 10.2 server on a G4 for file sharing, e-mail,
and other services. We'll be moving to 10.4 server on a new G5.
Can anyone suggest a best pathway for this migration? Would we want
to get 10.4 server on separate installer disks (instead of
pre-installed on the G5), and then use the 10.4 server disks to upgrade
the 10.2 machine... then image over to the G5? Or does Tiger server
provide some sort of "import users/shares/mail/etc. from an older
version running on another machine" utility?
Also, any problems with migrating due to skipping 10.3 entirely?
Thanks!
