Norton AntiVirus "Your antivirus subscription has expired" error

   We've been hearing that some campus users of Norton AntiVirus 9.0.x
for Mac OS X are encountering "Your antivirus subscription has
expired" error messages when attempting to update virus definitions
via LiveUpdate:
