To uninstall Norton AntiVirus (NAV) for Mac OS X, in order to start
'fresh' with a new installation:
1. Use the "Symantec Uninstaller 1.0.1" utility, included in
Symantec's and the campus's distribution of NAV, both on
the WSS Software site <http://wss.berkeley.edu> and the
C_at_B 2005 CD <http://cab.berkeley.edu>.
2. If this doesn't work, try running the NortonUninstaller script
to perform a complete uninstall. (This is the "nuclear weapon"
approach, to be used as a last resort.)
