Apple invites you to a free, live webcast about getting started in high
performance computing, December 16, 2004, 10 a.m. Pacific.

Members of Apple's marketing and product teams will discuss the basic
concepts of moving applications from the desktop to computational
clusters, explain some of the concepts around high performance
computing, and suggest shortcuts to succeeding.

This webcast is targeted at those customers who want to learn the
basics and take a few steps in the right direction toward implementing
their own HPC infrastructure.  There will be a slight focus on
bioinformatics during the segment on Apple Workgroup Clusters, however,
the main topics of this webcast apply to any science or technology
application of high performance computing.  Researchers are encouraged
to view the webcast.
