Hi all:
Just thought I would share that I fixed the problem. Thanks especially to
Robert Lettieri who suggested updating the firmware. Not sure if that was
the fix, but it certainly didn't hurt. HP tech support got back to me
within a day. Turns out that OS 9 and the HP 1150 doesn't use the Desktop
Printer Utility anymore. They use their own printer utility via the
Chooser. That's how I was able to get the computer to recognize the USB
printer. If anyone wants to see HP's solotion, just let me know and I'll
send it to you.
