Airport help

Dear Magnetizers,

I'm hoping someone can offer me some helon the
following problem. Recently we got high-speed cable
internet access at home, but unfortunately the access
point is downstairs, and my Mac is upstairs. I was told
I needed to get an Airport card for my PowerBook G3
(Pizmo), but Apple apparently has stopped making them.
A long, frustrating search with vendors didn't turn up
anything. If anyone has any help they can offer, I'd
greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
