-- Apple and Adobe are hosting a product overview of select products that run on Mac OS X. This event has been created so that you can learn the latest information on Apple's Professional applications and the Adobe Creative Suite of applications. It is designed for Faculty, Staff and Students and is being provided free of charge. Lunch will be served. The details of the event are as follows: When: Wednesday, May 5, 2004 8:30am - 3pm Where: De Anza 3 Auditorium - Apple Campus (directions available online) Who: This event is targeted at Higher Education Faculty, Staff and Students interested in digital media The details are as follows: During the morning session Apple's Vin Capone will be providing an overview of Apple's award winning Professional applications including Final Cut Pro(R), DVD Studio Pro(R) and others. These applications are being used to make major productions such as the recent motion picture release Cold Mountain and the TV show Scrubs. You will be introduced to the basic features of the applications and learn valuable tips on getting the most productivity out of them. During the afternoon session Adobe's Mike Descher will be presenting the Adobe Creative Suite. The Complete Design Environment for Print & Web Publishing Combining new, full-version upgrades of Adobe Photoshop(R), Adobe Illustrator(R), Adobe InDesign(R), Adobe GoLive(R), and Adobe Acrobat(R) Professional with the innovative new Version Cue(R) file manager, a smooth Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) workflow, and comprehensive design resources, you'll get see the new Adobe Creative Suite.
