Mathematica

Wolfram Research, the company that produces Mathematica, has proposed
a Mathematica site license for the UC system. Beginning next week, I
will start to share some information about this proposal on the BITS
Forum mailing list. So if your department uses Mathematica, or plans
to, it would be a good idea for the person who handles Mathematica in
your department to join the BITS Forum list. This list does not
currently have an archive, so joining now will enable interested
parties to follow the entire discussion.

The purpose and restrictions of the list are described at the
following site, and at the bottom of the web page there is a link
that initiates an authenticated enrollment process.

Thanks.
