   Through some strange synchronicity, I just recently saw mention of
a product like this, made by 3M (of course! :-).

"3M Notebook/LCD Privacy Computer Filters"

<http://products3.3m.com/catalog/us/en001/office/computer_filters/node_GSWCG9QLT4be/root_GST1T4S9TCgv/vroot_P4D1H530JCge/gvel_BZ5WP1N1DKgl/theme_us_computerfilter_3_0/command_AbcPageHandler/output_html>

   In addition to ordering directly from 3M's store, a Google search
indicates that some third-party vendors also carry these. One
example:

<http://www.secure-it.com/products/privacy.htm>

   They cost some $60-$100 each, at least from the above vendor ...
