Hello All,
Someone else on campus has this same problem and discovered that it
indicated a failing hard drive. I purchased a new hard drive and I
get the same result: No destination appears for selection.
Is there an update that I can't find? I've looked at Apple.com and
downloaded a G4 update but during the run, it says that the computer
doesn't require that particular update.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks! and happy new year!
Hello All,
I'm upgrading a Quicksilver G4 (of which we have many) to OSX Jaguar
from 9.2.2:
I insert the OSX cd#1 one and begin process. When it gets to Select
Destination, no hard drive shows up. (I've installed Jaguar
successfully on several other G4s.)
Back to drawing board, I successfully installed OSX 10.1.2 with the
cd that came with the computer then tried to install Jaguar. Still
have the same problem of no hard drive to select for installation.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
