The mail archives for webnet, micronet, and magnet have been rotated;
previous archives can be found at <http://ls.berkeley.edu/mail/magnet/2002/>.
(Permute as desired for other mailing lists and years).
In the interest of URL permanence (an important and much-neglected aspect
of web server management--see <http://www.useit.com/alertbox/980614.html>),
the archives, including the current year's, now all include the year in
the URL. (This article, for example, will appear as
<http://ls.berkeley.edu/mail/magnet/2003/0001.html>. This way, each URL
will retain its canonical location indefinitely, instead of being broken
at the beginning of each new year.
I have placed a minimal index page at the root of the magnet, micronet,
and webnet directories, but it would probably be more convenient for
most users to go to <http://ls.berkeley.edu/mail/magnet/current/>, which
is a permanent URL which will always redirect to the current year's archive.
Those of you who link to these archives might want to change your links.
(Which is a violation of the very principle I'm trying to espouse, but
necessary to break out of our legacy system).
So a brief recap:
