Hi all -
In OS X you can pop in a blank CD, drag files onto it, drag it to the
trash to burn it, and have an ISO9660 data CD (compatible with all operating
systems) in minutes.
I made the mistaken assumption that one could burn data DVDs the same way
in Jaguar. You can, but they come out as HFS+, not ISO9660, which means
they won't mount on Windows machines.
Is there any way to burn cross-platform data DVDs in Jaguar, or do you need
3rd party tools? If so, what do you use? Toast?
Apple's KnowledgeBase doesn't seem to acknowledge this issue, unless I'm
missing something obvious.
Thanks,
Scot
