Hi Folks:
yeah, i may be taking on more than I can chew...
Our APS DAT Tape drive just died...a month and a half after the 3 yr
warranty ended. APS Tech reports very likely that problem is bad
power supply. They said just replace it with another computer power
supply. I feel completely confident I can replace all the
cables/connectors on a new one. But I don't see any kinds of
indentifiers for me to say "I need a XXX type/style/size supply" (so
there, i probably revealed my lack of computer hardware
knowledge....).
If I want to take this into a computer supplier who carries such
things with it in my hand: any suggestion about where to go in the
Berkeley/Oakland area?
Thanks very much. Since we use this for our data back up, any quick
replies and nearby solutions are appreciated!!
michael
