Hi Everyone,

Thanks to all who wrote & phoned! I love MAGNet; 'cause just like my
Mac--- it works!

Here's a summary of what I found to open the drive tray under Mac OS X:

1) In Mac OS X 10.1 and higher, the F12 function key is assigned by
default to the task of opening and closing the CD/DVD tray on
third-party keyboards which are missing a dedicated Eject key. (Note:
you may have to press and hold that key for a second or two.)
F12 works on *most* keyboards-- it will not work on Apple Pro Keyboards
with a Media Eject Key. It did *not* work on a Microsoft Natural Elite
Keyboard without any drivers. I haven't tested using The Microsoft
Keyboard driver for Macintosh-- if the driver is installed it just
might work.

2) In OS X you *can* add an eject button to the Menu Bar; here's how:

/System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/
Inside Menu Extras is a folder called Eject.menu that, when
double-clicked, puts an eject symbol on the menu bar.
To remove the symbol from the menu bar: command-drag it from the bar
and "poof" it's gone.

Best,

Kin
