This is quite common -- many worms propagate by sending
themselves via e-mail to recipients who are listed in the infected
Windows computer's Outlook address book. Thing is, they also spoof
the From: header by making the message appear to be from yet another
address that's sitting around on the infected computer.
So, there exists a computer somewhere with your e-mail
address on it. This computer is infected. It composed an e-mail
message that appeared to be "From:" you, even though you didn't write
it; the automatic mail filter at the intended victim naively believed
that the message originated from you, and is trying to tell you so.
