Hi all:
I have a user who is experiencing constant crashes when trying to send attachments or large messages (100k+) via Claris E-mailer.
Statistics as follows:
Mac Performa 6360
56MB RAM
OS 8.1
Claris E-mailer 2.0v3
Has 12,000+ messages in the in box, taking up 131.2 MB
The old in box takes up 50.6 MB
Mail index takes up 16.6 MB
Old mail index takes up 7.5 MB
I increased the memory for this application to 8MB. I've run Norton Utilities 5.0 and Norton Antivirus.
He is also using a modem connection on campus (he doesn't have a network card for his computer.) He connects at 26K.
My guess is that it might be the amount of messages in his mailboxes, but I don't know. Any ideas? If not, I'll be contacting WHSG really soon and let them tackle it. Thanks.
eric
