MagNet and MicroNet,

Testing of secure access to e-mail -- in which your UCLink e-mail username
and password and the contents of your e-mail messages are transmitted through
a secure, encrypted channel between your computer and your email server --
is progressing well.

Eudora 5.1r, MS Outlook, and PC-Pine 4.40 are known to work. Instructions for
using Eudora and Outlook are provided in:

"SSL Security and Privacy for Email:
   Setup Instructions for Testing"

We have learned through testing that users of Eudora 5.1r for the Mac OS
must be running at least Mac OS 9.x and have created at least one system
Keychain
in order to participate in testing this service. Details are provided on the
above Web page.
