By the way, one reason for wanting the PB4 and not the iBook is that
the PB4 offers S-Video Out, which is crucial to our making
presentations at conferences (computer projection onto large
screens). We have an early model of the iBook for which we tried
adapters for video projection output and it was hopeless (capable of
only low resolution and thus very poor quality). As we must have a
true s-video capability, the iBooks are not an option.

The other reason is that we have found iBooks to be the quirkiest and
least reliable of all the various Macs we've used since 1985.
