[MAGNet] CD-RW drives for PowerBook G4's

MAGNet,

As far as I can tell Apple is offering CD-RW drives only with its G4
desktops, but not for the PowerBook G4's. One of our professors
wants to acquire a PB4 and would benefit greatly from access to a
CD-RW drive on a PB4. He'd be willing to delay the purchase for a
reasonable amount of time if there will be an imminent release of PB4
models with CD-RW-s. Has anyone heard of any pending upgrades to the
line of PB4's, or even a third party substitute to install a CD-RW in
place of its DVD? He does not want an external CD-RW.
