   I haven't any direct experience in doing so, but you might first look at:

   http://www.access.ch/ml/software/macosx/
   (Marc Liyanage's MySQL 3.23.36 installer for Mac OS X)

   and

   http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/01/16/index3a_page5.html?tw=backend
   (additional advice regarding this installer)

   Also, a Web-based (using PHP) administration tool for MySQL that
seems to be fairly widely used (also not used here; we're still using
the MySQL console ;-) is at:
