Hi,
Qualcomm has just released Eudora 5.1 for both Windows and Macintosh.
To avoid ending up in sponsored-mode, you should download the 5.1
updater from the following location:
<http://www.eudora.com/products/eudora/updater.html>
There are links on that page to update Windows and Macintosh Eudora
5.0R, 5.0.1R, 5.0.2R to 5.1R. (Our site-licensed versions of Eudora
are "R" releases.)
If you don't currently have at least version 5 of Eudora installed,
you can get the campus site installers at:
Macintosh Eudora 5.0.1:
<http://mac.berkeley.edu/internetsoftware/eudora/index.html>
Windows Eudora 5.0:
<http://windows.berkeley.edu/software/email/epro_downloads.html>
We usually get our official site distribution of Eudora anywhere from
a few to several weeks after a release. We expect to have the new
Eudora in the C@B 2002 CD.
And for Mac OS X users, the OS X version of Eudora 5.1 is still in
beta; you can get it from the the Eudora beta page:
