Because of the current power crisis, I'd like to be able to put the
G4 in my office into deep sleep mode. However, I need to be able to
wake it up from home so as to be able to transfer files to it from
there. I haven't done lots
of experimnation yet, but it seems to be the case that, in the
advanced settings tab in the energy control panel, there are several
possibilities:
1. Wake on network activity.
When I enable this, the computer seems to wake up as soon as it sleep.
Useless.
2. Wake on adminstrative access.
When I enable this (but not 1), I can't figure out how to wake it
up remotely.
Any ideas?
