I have a suggestion. How about making it mandatory that email names are
first initial, last name or first initial, middle initial, last name. This
is how LBNL gets away with having all of their employees on the email
__@lbl.gov.

I would have liked my UCLINK email address to have been at least first
initial and last name, but I was limited in characters. I hope that
limitation will end with the old system.
