Since the Library began sending email circ notices recently, I've been
looking closely at bounced mail. I thought the group might be interested
in the way Stanford is handling the "user not found" problem. They appear
to be using a firstname.lastname@stanford.edu system and probably have all
the problems we're worried about. Below is the message they send back
with bounced mail:
