Mike Sinatra asked me to take the lead on getting this task force (about
user@Berkeley.EDU mail addressing) organized. I am hoping we can pretty
aggressively come to decisions, and have a report ready around the turn of
the year.
The document we presented to the ITAC (nee ITATF) outlines the basic issues
and the reasons for the effort:

There's a mailing list set up, berkeleyedu@LS.Berkeley.EDU, which is
archived at <http://ls.berkeley.edu/mail/berkeleyedu/>. The members are:
Me (L&S)
Mike Sinatra (CNS)
Lucia Tsai (CalNet)
Ilona Ozmon (Socrates)
Zane Cooper (Haas)
Gordon Adams (Chemistry)
Janet Garey (Library)
Let me know if there's anyone else who you think should be included.
Everyone appears to be on CalAgenda, and I've proposed a kick-off meeting
for next Monday at 11:00 AM in 261 Campbell Hall. (Not everyone appears
to be actually using CalAgenda to maintain their schedule, so let me know
if the time doesn't work for you).
For the task force name, I'm thinking, "Berkeley.EDU Expeditionary Force".
No offense to any vegans on the commitee.
