File servers can help you conveniently and securely share documents with your co-workers. Instead of sending attachments back and forth and wondering where the most recent version of your document is, you can put your files on our servers, so everyone appropriate always has access to the same information. Our file sharing services are offered at no charge to L&S departments for use by administrative staff; other users may have to pay a small fee.
We work with your department to create a logical folder hierarchy, and we manage user and group permissions as well as ensure that our servers are reliable and robust.
Our file services is provided by a NetApp FAS270 filer, which provides cross-platform access.
