• CalNet Active Directory

We offer centralized computing management for Windows clients and servers via the CalNet Active Directory project. CalNet AD provides single sign-on authentication using your CalNet ID. Once you are logged on, you will have access to all your appropriate resources. We can provide support for anyone who has a valid CalNet ID, including faculty, staff, and students.

Support for Active Directory includes:

• Integration with the campus CalNet authentication service, which allows CalNet ID to be used as a desktop login.
• Computer resource management through Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Pre-scheduled automatic updates for critical security issues.
• Enforcement of compliance with campus Minimum Standards for Networked Devices policy.
