Letters & Science Computing Resources offers comprehensive desktop computing support for faculty in the College. Our services are available to professors of all ranks, lecturers, and graduate student instructors, depending on the needs of each department.
All departments within the division of Arts & Humanities have contracts with us, as do many departments within the divisions of Social Sciences and Mathematical & Physical Sciences. If you are unsure whether you are covered by our services, please contact us or your department manager. We provide support for Macs and Windows PCs, including both desktop and notebook models, as will as peripheral devices such as printers and scanners. Our recommendations for supported software and hardware are the same as for our Annual Desktop Support plan. However, because some faculty members have unusual software or older hardware, we are flexible in what we support. We strongly urge departments to contact us before purchasing any new computer equipment for faculty. We can evaluate the needs of individual faculty members and provide recommendations tailored to their specific requirements.

Also, because we use an automated ticket tracking system, if you wish to provide additional information regarding a request that you sent in, please reply either to the automated response or to a message sent by an LSCR consultant regarding that request so that "[LSCR Request System #xxxx]" (with the appropriate tracking number) will appear in the subject line. New requests should be sent without a tracking number; the tracking number will be assigned automatically.
