LS.Berkeley.EDU, also known as "clue," is a Linux server for the College of Letters & Science. Services we provide on clue include email forwarding and virtual domains, a database server, web virtual hosting, and login accounts.

Each L&S department is provided with two free login accounts, each with 100 MB of disk space, resulting in a total group disk quota of 200 GB. More accounts or more disk space may be purchased if needed.

To qualify for free accounts, departments must be affiliated with the College of Letters & Science. Some departments, such as organized research units, will be granted free accounts if they are closely related to L&S (containing mostly L&S faculty, for example).
