Professional Development for Advisors
Training and development opportunities are of great value and importance
to department advisors and the college advising staff. Undergraduate
Policy & Analysis in the Undergraduate
Division facilitates advisors' professional growth by maintaining
a clearinghouse of information on advising conferences, professional
organizations, and training opportunities (The Undergraduate Division
is beginning to compile a resource library for advisors).
Susan Hagstrom coordinates these efforts. If you know
of additional advising-related resources, have ideas about in-house
training opportunities, or can suggest books and journals for the resource
library, please forward suggestions to her at hagstrom@uclink4.berkeley.edu.
