USHER POLICY:
To be an usher for TDPS main stage and workshop productions,
you must be a current UC Berkeley student, faculty, or staff.
You will receive free admission
in exchange for the following:
Arrive 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to show.
Dress neatly (no blue jeans, t-shirts, etc.).
Ushers will be familarized with the venue and performance particulars by the house manager.
Assigned duties may include:
Stubbing tickets.
Passing out programs.
Providing professional and courteous assistance to the members of the audience.
Enforcing the "no photography, filming, food, or beverage in the theater" policy.
Assisting with late seating.
Assisting House Manager during intermission.
Restore theater and lobby after the show.
You may be asked to miss the first few minutes of the performance to assist with late seating.
How to sign up:
Go to the ticket purchasing page for the performance you wish to see.
Choose 1 regular seat.
Enter the pass code "usher" when prompted.
You must log in and provide your name, address, email, and phone number.
This will be no cost ticket "purchase."
(you do not need to enter your credit card information when prompted)
You will receive a confirmation email.
If you sign up to be an usher and do not show up for the performance to perform your usher duties,
you will no longer be allowed to usher for future productions.
