| Several
of the faculty in the Scandinavian Department
are actively involved with film-related research
projects and teach regular courses for the UCB
Film Studies program. In addition, several graduate
students in the department are working on film-related
dissertations. This strong research interest
in the Scandinavian film tradition is supported by a variety of campus film screenings.
Some of these take place at
the Pacific Film Archive during special program
series, others in the Nestrick auditorium (142 Dwinelle)
in connection with film courses, and in special
screenings as well.
There
are no upcoming film screenings.
