– TEACHING HEBREW IN COLLEGE
Instructor: Lecturer Rutie Adler One hour of lecture per week plus participation in demonstration
classes and colloquia. Prerequisite: graduate standing. Required of all
new graduate student instructors in Hebrew. The methodology of teaching
Hebrew as a foreign language at the college leve. Lectures on contrastive
analysis of English and Hebrew, classroom strategies, and development
of instructional materials. Must be taken on a satidfactory/unsatisfactory
basis.
